The Past Few Months....

So, just to catch up on the past few months.........

Josh is no longer in the Air Force, after giving the country 8 years of his life. We knew when he got deployed that it wasn't something we wanted to face again, especially after we start our family. So, we have been planning and waiting for this day for what seems like forever! Things are finally starting to come together, and I can actually see a glimpse of where we really want our lives to be. Josh started his terminal leave a little early so that he could start a new job with the Blanchard Police Dept. He started there in January, and I stayed behind in Altus to continue working until I could find a job. Three very long months later, I landed a job at OU! I absolutely love my job so far! I am so excited that I got the chance to stay in higher education and even more specifically, in financial aid. So....Josh had been staying with my parents waiting for me to join him, and what do ya know?....He leaves for CLEET certification school in Ada the week after I finally get to move, and he will be there for 3 months! So, now I am staying with the parents while Josh is in Ada, and in the meantime we've been looking for houses. He does get to come home on the weekends, so we spend most of that time doing research for houses to look at.

Well, that pretty much sums up the past few months of our crazy life. Josh is over half-way through his training now, he should be finished in June. We are definitley ready to find a home and settle down! Even though this is a stressful time, it has also been exciting to be able to make steps towards our dream and I know that we are so blessed to have each other and to have our family to support us!
